Bedugul attractions

In Bedugul attractions there is a temple called Ulun Danu temple that is located on the edge of the lake mind. Ulun Danu in trust as a place bersemayaman goddess or goddess Sri kesuburan.

Location

History

Ulun Danu Beratan history is known from archaeological and historical data contained in the papyrus chronicle Mengwi. To the left of the front page Ulun Danu Beratan temple there is a sarcophagus and a stone board, which comes from the megalithic tradition, around 500 BC. Both artifacts are now placed above each of the estimated location Babaturan or terrace where Ulun Danu Beratan, has been used as a place to carry out the ritual since ancient megalithic activity.

Since the founding of the temple tesebut termasyurlah Mengwi kingdom, and I Gusti Agung Putu was called by his people "I Gusti Agung Way". Ulun Danu Beratan temple complex consists of four, namely:

Linga temple plot, Pucak Penataran Mangu, Pura Terate Bang, and the Pura Dalem Purwa serves to adore the majesty of God in its manifestation as the god Tri Murti, in order to invoke the grace of fertility, prosperity, human well-being and universe.
